Theme is the moral, message, or lesson of the fictional story. 

How to find theme:

1. Look at the main character.

2. Watch for the statement of the theme. 

3. Look at the title. 

4. Look at the conflict. 

Dismissal

Starting Monday, August 10, 2015 all second, third, fourth, and fifth grade students will be dismissed from their fluency homework teacher not their homeroom.  Friday, August 7, 2015 your student will come home with this letter stating the room they will be dismissed from every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.  We will send this letter home again in January when we switch their fluency teacher.
